About Dr. Anna Binder, MD

Dr. Binder is a board certified psychiatrist and an esteemed Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is fully trained in both Adult and Child Psychiatry. Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is Dr. Binder’s primary specialty. She received her general and adult psychiatry training at University of Maryland and Sheppard Pratt and then attended Johns Hopkins Child and Adolescent Psychiatry training program.

 

Dr. Binder has extensive experience treating a broad range of psychiatric and behavior disorders, including depression, seasonal affective disorder (SAD), anxiety, bipolar disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity

disorder (ADHD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), substance abuse, autism, Asperger's disorder and more. She offers an array of psychiatric services including medication management, individual therapy, family therapy, behavior planning for children and adolescents, and advocacy for children in need of specialized academic services.

 

Dr. Binder employs a holistic approach to treating all patients and specializes in partnering with her patients to help them meet their full potential.
