Dr. Montalvo's therapeutic style is rooted in a cognitive-behavioral framework and integrates the use of mindfulness, insight, acceptance, and commitment to provoke behavioral change and improve psychiatric symptoms. Her passions and hobbies include helping others by getting involved with my community, mindfulness-based practices such as meditation and yoga, live music, and discovering new restaurants around the city. One fun fact about Dr. Montalvo is she helped to establish the Miami Diaper Bank, a non-profit organization that provides diapers for underprivileged families throughout South Florida.
