Allen Lok
Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst
I received my bachelor's degree in psychology at Florida International University. I enjoyed learning about the human mind and I always had a passion for helping people. I happened to stumble upon behavior analysis by accident and have ever since truly enjoyed incorporating the science into my treatment approach. As a therapist, I help lead my clients achieve their passions and goals through open dialogue and exploration. My future goal is to travel more and to own a small farm with animals.

What is important to you, for your client to feel, when working with you?
I want my clients to feel trusted and listened to as we develop goals and interventions to help them succeed in life.
Who do you believe you are for a client as they manage their problems?
I want my clients to look forward to meeting with me each time and feel excited about learning and achieving goals. While some days may not look like this, I want them to feel accomplished after each session.
What drives your passion for seeing clients?
I hope to be able to help clients understand how to overcome challenges they may face. It brings me joy to see my clients making effort and learning new skills.
How do you believe clients "get better"?
Clients are able to "get better" by learning how to identify the challenges they face, determining potential courses of action, and taking the best possible course of action.
