What is important to you, for your client to feel, when working with you?

I try to advocate for my patients, challenge them, inspire them and provide the quality of care I would want if I were in their shoes.

Who do you believe you are for a client as they manage their problems?

I offer a thoughtful, comprehensive assessment to discuss and weigh out the role that medications could play to support your process of change. My goal is to provide the expert psychiatric care that will allow you to perform at your personal and professional best.

What drives your passion for seeing clients?

As physicians, we have the opportunity to empower our patients and their families with knowledge. When I see that a patient understands their disease process and the plan of care, it is an awesome feeling. Physicians have the ability to bring understanding and peace during what can be a confusing or challenging time.

How do you believe clients "get better"?

Patients will get better by listening to their doctor's recommendation and believing in positive outcomes
