Jon completed his education in psychotherapy at NSU. He previously worked as a musician and actor in South Florida before joining the field. Jon's style is eclectic in nature, utilizing elements of strategic and Rogerian therapy. Future goals of his include launching his own private company specializing in Adventure Therapy.

What is important to you, for your client to feel, when working with you?
It is important to me that I am able to help my clients in ways that are congruent with how they accept support. I utilize a collaborative approach when working with my clients, and allow them to define what is most useful for their lives.
Who do you believe you are for a client as they manage their problems?
My function as a therapist is to provide collaborative support for the client to work towards positive change.
What drives your passion for seeing clients?
Knowing that our compassion has the capacity to instill a lifelong memory and promote a sense of goodwill towards others in our clients.
How do you believe clients "get better"?
Clients can improve their mental health in a variety of ways; insight can sometimes leads to positive change, and when combined with new behavior can yield successful treatment outcomes.
