Massiel graduated from Florida International University. She was introduced to the field when interning at a school for children with autism and other developmental delays. She believes that empathy is a critical skill ABA therapists should develop, the person being treated needs to feel understood. Massiel plans to attend Colorado State University to earn her doctorates in occupational therapy.

It is important for my client to feel heard and understood.

I believe I am there to guide my clients progress in a warm, compassionate, as well as professional, manner.
What drives your passion for seeing clients?
What drives my passion is the fulfillment of seeing them be more independent.
How do you believe clients "get better"?
When a client is getting effective ABA therapy you are able to see progress.
