Massiel graduated from Florida International University. She was introduced to the field when interning at a school for children with autism and other developmental delays. She believes that empathy is a critical skill ABA therapists should develop, the person being treated needs to feel understood. Massiel plans to attend Colorado State University to earn her doctorates in occupational therapy.

What drives my passion is the fulfillment of seeing them be more independent.

When a client is getting effective ABA therapy you are able to see progress.
