What is important to you, for your client to feel, when working with you?
When working with me, I want my client to feel seen, heard, understood and loved. I want them to know in their heart that I believe in them and am there to help them reach their fullest potential in any and every way I can.
Who do you believe you are for a client as they manage their problems?
I want to be a catalyst in the lives of every individual I work with. I want to inspire them as much as they inspire me and push forward together, dismantling all obstacles that stand in their way.
What drives your passion for seeing clients?
I love watching children learn and grow. Seeing the world through their eyes and watching their mind work while they explore new things is always such a blessing. Everyone deserves to have someone that sees the best in them and believes in everything they are and everything they can be, I'm that someone.
How do you believe clients "get better"?
I'm weary about using "get better" when discussing clients, I think it sometimes can be misconstrued and paints the picture that there is something innately wrong with the individual and that they require fixing. ABA believes that manipulating a persons environment affects the behavior of the individual, the cause of the challenging behaviors that arise is not the individual but the environment. I think with support, patience, time, and above all, unconditional hope and belief in the individual, anyone can learn how to shape their environment to best suit their path to success, whatever that success may look like for them.
