Vanessa Rojas
Registered Behavior Technician
Vanessa has been a RBT for about 3 years now. She is going to school at FIU to become a BCBA which is one of her major goals for the future. She has always worked with children from an early age and becoming a RBT was something that interested her a lot. Originally, she did not plan on becoming a BCBA, but working as a RBT has created a passion for ABA. As a therapist, she is very outgoing and loves for her kiddos to learn as they play.

What is important to you, for your client to feel, when working with you?
It is extremely important for my client to feel safe and have fun when working with me. I feel like when a client is having fun and enjoy therapy, they make an immense amount of progress.
Who do you believe you are for a client as they manage their problems?
I feel like I get viewed as one of their friends and someone they can confide in.
What drives your passion for seeing clients?
It is extremely rewarding to see the progress my clients make.
How do you believe clients "get better"?
Our clients make progress by being consistent with their behavior plan and for everyone around the client to work as a team.
