Yanely Rodriguez is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst at Monterroso Integrative Services. Yanely graduated with her masters in Applied Behavior Analysis from Capella University. She was introduced to behavior analysis by coincidence while completing her bachelors degree in biology from Florida International University, which changed her career path in another direction. Yanely's experiences include early intervention, social skills, functional communication training, verbal behavior training, instructional design, parent training, staff training, and functional analyses. With her clients, Yanely hopes to bring meaningful behavior change that are functional and important to increase quality of life by collaborating with caregivers and other professionals. In the future Yanely hopes to continue her studies as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

Who do you believe you are for a client as they manage their problems?
I believe that for my clients I am the gateway to achieving positive changes in behavior that allow them to learn and apply these skills in their daily lives.
What drives your passion for seeing clients?
It is exciting to come in to work every day and be around individuals working toward the same goal: improving the lives of our clients by working on specific behaviors, such as communication among other skills.
How do you believe clients "get better"?
I believe clients get better when they have a team of dedicated professionals that strive to individualize client treatment, and achieve client goals. These goals which are necessary to help each client work on skills that will help them become more independent and successful towards their future.
