Jessica Diaz

ABA Coordinator & RBT

Jessica completed her Bachelors degree in Psychology at Florida International University and is now completing her Masters degree in Exceptional Student Education online at the University of West Florida. At one point she was very lost and had no idea what direction to take, while attending FIU she completed her RBT certification and has been in love with the field ever since. Jessica isn't in the business of changing a clients personality but instead teaching them appropriate and functional ways in which they can be themselves in the real world. After completing her masters degree, she plans on becoming a BCBA within the same company she's grown in as an RBT and looks forward to learning more about the field from her fellow colleagues.

It is important to me for my client to feel like they are safe, comfortable and in good hands when they are working with me.

Who do you believe you are for a client as they manage their problems?

As a client manages their problems, I would like to believe that I serve as a voice and advocator for them.

What drives your passion for seeing clients?

My passion for seeing clients is driven by the small victories the client is able to achieve while working with me.

How do you believe clients "get better"?

I believe that clients "get better" when you engage with them in ways that most motivate them to work on goals with you.
