Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Janelys Castro has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) since 2017. She received her Masters in Education in Curriculum and Instruction of Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University. She has worked in a variety of settings including home, center, school and community. Throughout her time as a BCBA, she has worked with children, teenagers, and their caregivers to help decrease behaviors, increase social skills, and foster independence.

When working with clients, it is of the utmost importance that they feel safe and heard.
Who do you believe you are for a client as they manage their problems?
My goal is for my clients to see me as a coach/advocate to help them manage their problem.
What drives your passion for seeing clients?
I have always loved working with children and find joy in seeing clients fostering independence and generalizing skills.
How do you believe clients "get better"?
Clients work and make progress at their own pace. I like to think of them as small victories towards a greater goal.
