Karina Vargas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis at the Florida Institute of Technology. She was drawn to the field through hands-on experience and a genuine passion for helping children and families thrive. As a mom of two young children, she brings empathy, patience, and a family-centered approach to her work. Karina’s therapeutic style is warm, individualized, and rooted in pairing and data-driven practice. She aspires to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and make a meaningful impact in the lives of the families she serves.

I believe I am a steady source of support and guidance for my clients as they navigate their challenges. I work to empower them with the skills, confidence, and encouragement they need to make progress.
What drives your passion for seeing clients?
My passion is driven by seeing clients make progress and gain skills that improve their independence and quality of life. Knowing that my work can positively impact both clients and their families motivates me to show up with care and dedication every day.
How do you believe clients "get better"?
I believe clients “get better” through consistent practice, individualized support, and a positive, encouraging environment. By building skills step by step and celebrating small successes, they gain confidence and make meaningful, lasting progress.
