What is important to you, for your client to feel, when working with you?

I want clients to feel like they can show up exactly as they are, even if that means crying, without ever feeling judged.

Who do you believe you are for a client as they manage their problems?

I see myself as a sounding board and guide, someone who encourages clients to explore new ways of thinking and tackling challenges. I help them test strategies that work for their unique situations.

What drives your passion for seeing clients?

I’m driven by helping clients test new strategies and see which ones actually work for them, and to create healthy habits for the future.

How do you believe clients "get better"?

Clients get better when they notice changes both within themselves, like feeling more confident or capable, and in their everyday lives. Progress comes from testing strategies, reflecting, and seeing what genuinely makes a difference.

“"To be honest, I often feel I have nothing interesting to say,” said the fox. “Being honest is always interesting,” said the horse.” Charlie Mackesy

I believe that the foundation of a safe and effective therapeutic relationship is honesty. This quote captures the idea that the act of being vulnerable and speaking your truth is never uninteresting or insignificant. My role is to provide a non-judgmental space where you can feel safe enough to be your authentic self.  We’ll work together to define your goals, and I'll be there to help you build the skills you need to reach them.
